tilit + wastED

What happens when food scraps meet fabric scraps?

Just ask the team behind Tilit, who used wasted textile materials to create the workwear for our servers and chefs. A former wastED NY collaborator, Tilit is known for the use of recycled cotton and hemp fiber fabrics in their stylish restaurantwear.

While our chefs were scavenging overlooked ingredients, Tilit co-founders Alex McCrery and Jenny Goodman were sourcing leftover textile scraps to repurpose into custom-designed aprons, smocks, and shirts for the wastED London team.

You can see the stunning results below—or on the roof of Selfridges through April 2.
